Storefront Business Campaign

About the Campaign

In response to the challenges faced by small storefront businesses due to economic shifts and the COVID-19 pandemic, the Neighborhood Challenge has launched the Storefront Business Campaign. This initiative aims to support businesses by facilitating access to innovative redesigns, digital transitions, and effective use of public spaces.

  • Goals:
    • Enhance the physical and digital presence of storefront businesses.
    • Reduce vacancy rates in key commercial districts.
    • Foster sustainable business practices among local entrepreneurs.

How It Works

  • Step 1: Submission of Proposals – Businesses or individuals submit their ideas for storefront improvements, focusing on sustainability, digital integration, and customer engagement.
  • Step 2: Community Voting – Proposals are shared with the community for public voting to ensure the ideas resonate with local needs and preferences.
  • Step 3: Implementation of Winning Projects – Winning projects receive funding, expert advice, and local support to bring their ideas to life.
